This service is primarily intended for foreigners living in Japan who do not speak Japanese fluently enough for a hospital visit.

In some cases, telephone interpretation is not possible. When this happens, our interpreters accompany the patient to examinations and during treatment, all the way to the operating room, and are on-call at the hospital around the clock.
Our staff includes English, Russian Ukrainian, Georgian, Kazakh and Chinese interpreters.
“Ningen Dock” preventative medical examination
For many years, Japan has had the highest life expectancy in the world. This is largely due to a great emphasis on preventative medicine which covers the entire population with annual “Ningen Dock” preventative examinations. Detecting diseases early leads to much greater success in treatment and Japan now faces the task of achieving healthy longevity. In recent years, other countries are also expressing increased interest in their health.
Services include:
(1) Search and recommendation of clinics for examination, conducting negotiation on patient enrolment
(2) Translation of initial medical information (up to 2 A4 pages) and final medical statement
(3) Medical interpreter services (4 hours of interpretation)
(4) Payment order to medical institution
Cost of services: 50,000 yen, not including cost of examination.
Treatment
Our services are intended for patients who wish to be treated in Japan. The package is generally used for cases of serious disease that require long-term treatment. MediChat makes every effort to find the best medical institution and schedule excellent treatment. Our personnel are always at your service.
Services include:
(1) Search and recommendation of hospitals for treatment; conducting negotiation on patient enrolment and coordinating with the hospital throughout the entire treatment period
(2) Translation of initial medical information (up to 4 A4 pages) and final medical statement
(3) Met at airport by your language-speaking guide
(4) Medical interpreter services (8 hours of interpretation)
(5) Payment order
(6) Medical interpreters provided throughout the entire treatment period
(7) Reservations at hotels, apartments, etc.
Cost of services: 5% of cost of treatment, but no less than 200,000 yen
